Collar Cabinets

Design Nendo

Inspired by the collar of a shirt, Collar Cabinets transform a familiar detail into a subtle architectural element. Raised edges around each module serve as integrated handles while giving the cabinets an almost directionless appearance, as if they have no up or down, left or right.

Individual units function as compact cabinets, sideboards or bedside tables, while combined they become building blocks for larger architectural compositions. Open and closed elements work together naturally, creating graphic arrangements with a calm and balanced presence.
