Design Barber Osgerby

Satellite began as an exploration of graphic composition and organised volumes. A series of cabinet modules rests on distinctive trestle bases, creating what Barber Osgerby describe as “a series of ideograms” — objects defined by proportion, modularity and purity, yet full of character.

The subtly recessed handles are integrated into the fronts, contributing to the calm and architectural appearance of the design. Inspired by the clarity of Modernist furniture and the understated elegance of post-war Scandinavian classics, Satellite combines visual lightness with practical storage.

Over time the collection evolved into a complete family of sideboards, lowboards and bedside tables. Satellite on Base is available in a wide range of sizes and configurations, offering a flexible solution for living, working and hospitality environments.
