Stammtisch design by Alfredo Häberli
Inspired by the cafes of the 1920s, where you could relax at the typical regular’s table with your feet on the bar below.
Alfredo Häberli: “The idea was to design a social, warm yet visually lightweight table. The type of construction (sheet metal and wood) has drawn its inspiration from the modern details of the carpentry crafts; the console and joist hangers made of plain steel have their sophisticated rebirth. Different colours of the metal parts provide the table with different characters. ”
Stammtisch (= regulars’ table) comes in various different models and sizes and is available with oval, rectangular and round tabletops. Customer specific tabletop materials, frame colours or dimensions are possible.
The Stammtisch was originally launched with an oval top, which was chosen as Winner of the Interior Innovation Award from the German Design Council.
